A Working With Children Check (WWCC) is a government issued clearance required of all Childcare workers. While it isn't mandatory in every state for providing casual babysitting services, Sittr requires this as an additional measure to ensure that parents feel comfortable booking any carers they find on our platform. The process of obtaining a check is a quick and painless process. Our founder Samantha put this to the test and had documentation in a few days.ย

For more information on Working With Children Checks please refer to the website for the state or territory in which you currently provide childcare services:

For our New Zealand carers, you will need to upload a copy of your Criminal Record Check. You can request a copy of your Criminal Record for free at https://www.justice.govt.nz/criminal-records/.
